King of the Mountain (KOTM) was historically a four-race series across the Cordillera: Mt. Ugo Marathon (MUM), Old Spanish Trail 50 (OST) / Four Lakes (FL100) 100, Pulag Ultra Trail (PUT) (formerly Pulag 100 (P1)) and Hardcore 100 Miles (H1), with Cascade Trail Challenge (CTC) added later. In 2025 KOTM consolidated into two race events, PUT and the Philippine Mountain Trail Festival (PMTF). In 2026 it was consolidated into a single event, the PMTF.
The PMTF is currently three mountain trail events over one weekend in Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya, 30 April–2 May 2027. Six categories from 13.55 km to 164.85 km, all starting and finishing at Kayapa Central School. Hardcore Ultra Trail carries the long distances at 164.85 km, 76.66 km and 63.65 km. Hardcore 100 Miles (H1), first run in 2013, is the Philippines’ first hundred-miler and a Hardrock 100 and Western States qualifier. Cascade Trail Challenge is 37.78 km through waterfall country. Philippine Mountain Trail, at 24.49 km and 13.55 km, is the way in.
Every category is ITRA rated and carries UTMB Index points.
