The MANILA TO BAGUIO 250K Single Stage (M2B250K) Ultra Marathon Road Race is a single-stage solo race.
This is a SOLO run. Runner-participants will run along the Macarthur Highway covering a total distance of 250 kilometers. All runner-participants must have a Support Vehicle and a support crew. However, runner-participants with support vehicle can “adopt” ONLY ONE other runner-participant.
Pacers are not allowed.
Runner-participants should ALWAYS run SINGLE FILE. Running abreast with other runner-participants or support crew will not be allowed. This is cause for disqualification.
Runner-participants should always stay on the farthest left side of the road facing the oncoming traffic. The race route traverses OPEN ROADS and runner-participants will share the road with other vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Always be vigilant of your surroundings and be alert to vehicles in front and behind each runner-participant.
A runner-participant is limited to only ONE support vehicle. However, a Support Vehicle can support a maximum of TWO (2) runner-participants.
Support vehicles should always park on the far-RIGHT side of the Highway/Road. Support Vehicles shall not be allowed to “shadow” their runner-participant. Only four-wheeled vehicles are allowed as support vehicles. If a runner-participant’s Support Vehicle violates these rules, the runner-participant(s) will be disqualified.
Runner-participants will not be allowed to enter their parked Support Vehicle once the Race starts. Runner-participants should bring a stool, portable chair, or folding bed, positioned outside their support vehicle (within the view of other runner-participants and roving marshals) if they intend to sit or lie down. Runner-participants will not be allowed to sit or lie on any part of their support vehicle.
Runner-participants are required to display three (3) tarpaulins with the words “RACE IN PROGRESS” on the front-side, rear-side and the left-side of their Support Vehicle. Race Organizer will provide such tarpaulins to support crews prior to the commencement of the race. It is the runner-participant and their crew’s responsibility to have the required items to affix these tarpaulins to their Support Vehicle.
Only the NAME of Running Group or Team’s Name of the Runner-Participant will be displayed on the runner-participant’s Support Vehicle.
Corporate Brands will not be allowed to be displayed on the runner-participant’s Support Vehicle.
