Pulag 100K (P1) follows part of the last 100-kilometer route of Hardcore 100 Miles (H1), the centerpiece race of KOTM. H1 aspirants are encouraged to join this event one year prior to H1 to get a feel for the longer-distance race.
The course is approximately 110 kilometers in distance, with a mix of dirt paths, single track trails and concrete roads. It has many demanding ascents and breathtaking descents. The total elevation gain is around 8,946 meters while total elevation loss is approximately 9,882 meters.

(Given the location, terrain characteristics and varying weather conditions, allow for discrepancies in distances / data recorded during race day). Aid / refreshment stations and Cut-off points are indicated. All runners must leave the Cut-off Stations on or before the designated time. Otherwise, they will be disqualified and not be allowed to continue with the race.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Runners attempting P1 must understand that challenges exist in this 110-kilometer trail race and they must be prepared to make decisions for their own safety under uncertain conditions without expectation of immediate assistance due to the inaccessibility of many areas to any type of motor vehicle, the remoteness of the race route and the distance between villages/households. While there is no guarantee that the runner is prepared for every eventuality, finishing a qualifying event gives some evidence of being prepared for P1. Additionally, it also improves the chances for a runner to finish the event.
